Cate Clark, environmental artist and trainer, has a particular interest in people and places. Cate delivers training for a wide range of participants both from this country and abroad on local distinctiveness, environmental education, and interpretation. She has helped many communities create their own parish maps in North Yorkshire, Wales and West Yorkshire. She undertakes commissions in steel, willow, silk, and digital media focussing on our heartfelt links to the natural world. |
Since 1997 Tina has been creating her own very individual mosaics. For the past seven years she has been working as a self-employed mosaic artist. She offers workshops in galleries, libraries and other venues and has produced and sold her own work. Most of Tina’s work is now based in schools as an Artist in Residence, working with Nurseries up to Middle Schools. Her approach is child – centred throughout. |
|
She places particular emphasis on the value of the process and aims to ensure that the finished product strongly reflects the children’s work.
