The first round of County Council grants has now closed.  

We have had an overwhelming response for both the Community and Strategic Grants.

Timetable

Early May

The VCS Unit members/relevant grant managers in each Directorate will now carry out initial screening of applications.  Following this initial process grant managers will write to applicants who have not progressed to the prioritisation stage to explain why, and offer feeedback if requested.

May/June

Directorate grant evaluation panels including VCS representation will meet to assess applications.

End June

Each applicant will be informed in writing of the outcome of their application .

Unsuccessful applications will be offered feedback from relevant grant manger and support will be available  from the Worcestershire Infrastructure Consortium (WIC).

Early July

A list of grants awarded by the County Council will be available on this website
