Breach House Residential Home

Dated: July 2011

"We have received a great deal of mandatory training to date & this has been excellent.  The training is of a good standard & the customer service from Worcestershire County Council is very good. Being able to arrange flexible training has been a godsend to our home as we have been able to work around shift patterns and the running of the business much more than before when we relied upon external companies. Trainers have been very friendly & we hope that we can continue to use this service for a long time to come."

Kind regards

We are a private sector who really struggled with accessing  training not only accessing but also having training that could be provided to us in house, as within the domiciliary sector it is really hard to send staff on training that is not local and to training when the times have already been allocated, since accessing the help from Tolladine,  our problems have been solved we are able to receive training course that we need, in a local venue and times to suit around the staff rota, this has lead to staff feeling less anxious about attending training, their knowledge and standard of work has improved and we are able to meet the standards  that are expected from the local authorities and CQC.

  • Some of the training courses that have been provided to us are
  • Manual handling
  • Safe guarding infection control
  • Health and safety
  • Safe handling of medication
  • First Aid
  • Fire awareness
  • Challenging behaviour
  • Mental capacity act
  • Deprivation of liberty
  • Food Hygiene
  • Risk enablement
  • Falls Prevention

I can honestly say that all the training sessions have been beneficial. They have all  been  provided to us at a high standard the trainers have always been patient and friendly. As has the contact with Tolladine, I Know who I need to speak to and they have always been helpful and ensure that every effort is made to meet the staff training requirements.

Kind Regards

Three Counties Care Services Ltd

Testimonial for Worcestershire County Council in-house training

Dated: June 2011

We have recently sourced the in-house training service through the Learning, Development and Well-being Centre of Worcestershire County Council.

We have mainly received mandatory training and have found the standard of training provided as excellent.  The trainers have all been very good and friendly and have a good understanding of the care sector, which comes across with their level of training.

Previously, we have sent staff to training at different locations within the Worcestershire area, meaning they are out for a good part of the day.  The benefit of in-house training is that the staff can usually complete their shifts then come to the office to receive training.

The service from the staff at the Learning, Development and Well-being Centre has been excellent.

We would not hesitate in recommending this as an excellent way to receive training for care staff.

Amber Care

Dated: June 2011

Can I just say how brilliant and flexible the in house training that we have received from yourselves has been.  We work to a high quality at Amber Support Services and it is so important to provide our staff with challenging and knowledge packed training with capable trainers - the feedback we have received from staff has been very positive.

Once again really sorry that we are both not around but if you are ever passing again please let us know.

Best wishes
